It’s been said that to really know a person, one should walk in their shoes. It’s also been said that if the shoe fits, wear it. Compassion is fashion, and to help raise both money and awareness for people with disabilities and special needs, Easter Seals will partner with The Gardens Mall to host the 10th Anniversary A Pair to Remember – Girls Night Out on Thursday, March 13 from 6-9 p.m.
A culinary and couture mashup, the glamorous evening will feature savory morsels, signature cocktails, a one-of-a-kind luxury auction (including an outrageous, once-in-a-lifetime raffle from The Gardens Mall), and a high-octane runway fashion show with iconic designs by Jimmy Choo, Bloomingdale’s, Eileen Fisher, Tory Burch, Ferragamo, and Saks Fifth Avenue, just to name a few. The celebration continues into the wee hours with a hip afterparty at Dirty Martini.
With a passion to help others live more independent lives, WPBF-Channel 25 news anchor Tiffany Kenney, and Michele Jacobs, corporate director of marketing and operations for The Forbes Company, are this year’s A Pair to Remember co-chairs.
“This year will definitely be very special,” says Michele Jacobs, who expects a record crowd. “Our goal at this year’s event is to help those who need it the most: our children. It is a huge task, but we’re excited that A Pair to Remember will bring awareness and recognition to such a noteworthy cause as Easter Seals.”
